The Provincial Grand Master regrets to announce that the RAM Assembly scheduled for April 4th 2020 has been cancelled. The full text of his announcement appears below.

Dear Brother,

We are all aware of the quickly developing situation and of the recent announcements made by the Government.

Having regard to our responsibilities to each other and our families I have made the following decision regarding the Provincial Royal Ark Mariner Assembly scheduled to take place at Maesgwyn Hall, Wrexham on 4th April 2020.

The Assembly will not now take place and is cancelled, we will not be holding a Provincial Royal Ark Mariner Assembly this year.

The Brethren who were to have been promoted and invested with Provincial Royal Ark Mariner Grand Rank will be invested on a future occasion, the Provincial Grand Secretary will advise those Brethren of that date in due course.

Notwithstanding this cancellation of the meeting those Brethren who were to have been promoted and invested at the Assembly will be holders of Provincial Royal Ark Mariner Rank from 4th April as if the investiture had taken place, they will wear their Provincial Collarettes at all meetings taking place from 4th April, 2020.

Those Brethren who had paid a dining fee will of course be reimbursed in due course.

I am sure that you will agree with me that this decision is the correct one to make, it is disappointing to have to cancel the Assembly, but we must look after ourselves and our families.
