North Wales Mark Master Masons
Tuesday the 14th of October 2025 marked the centenary for Idris Mark Lodge No 821.
After months of research, planning and stress the brethren of the lodge welcomed the Provincial Grand Master, the Deputy PGM and a large number of the current Provincial Team to Barmouth.
Distinguished guests included R.W.Bro. Peter Talbot PPGM, GMRAC, V.W.Bro Martin Love – the Deputy PGM for Dyfed, and W.Bro. John Love, DepGSwdB.
Under the guidance of the WM, W.Bro. Martin Williams, and thanks to the hard work of W.Bro. Roger Pritchard, ProvGSW, and assisted by other lodge members, they gave everyone an evening of celebration to remember, with a detailed history of the lodge and an interesting take on the payment of wages everyone took an active part.
The evening was made more special with the presentation of two cheques of £1000 each to the NWMBF from Idris Mark and Idris RAM.
To round off this special night the PGM was pleased to bestow a field promotion on a shocked Bro. John Morris to PPGSwdB to the delight of all brethren.
Following lodge business there followed a fine festive board at the Min y Mor hotel.
