North Wales Mark Master Masons
On the 26th of February the PGM, Deputy PGM and the Provincial Team were in attendance at Elwy Hall in Rhyl for Maen Clo Mark Lodge No. 1471’s Jubilee celebration.
Taking the chair during the ceremony, the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. John Stanley Evans, accompanied by his Deputy W.Bro. Colin Lemin, looked back on the Lodge’s 50 years of success. The Provincial Grand Chaplain, W.Bro. Steve Tilston, delivered a poignant oration.
Adding to the delight of the evening was a most entertaining talk by R.W.Bro. Michael Masters, the Past Grand Director of Ceremonies, on his fascinating tenure at MMH.
Among the 80+ in attendance were a plethora of Grand Officers including the Past PGM, R.W.Bro. Peter Talbot, the Past Grand Secretary R.W.Bro. Angus Hannigan GSW and current Acting Grand Officers V.W.Bro. Brian Hughes GJO, W.Bro. J Gareth Jones GJD, W.Bro. Wynford Davies AsstGOrg and W.Bro. David Ratchford GStwd, all members of Maen Clo Lodge.
A sumptuous Festive Board followed with the ‘Magic of the Mark’ shining through.
