Second Narrow Boat Trip

Response to the first Narrow Boat Trip on the 6th of July was so strong that we’ve organised another one, this time on the 25th of July.

You are again invited to join St. Giles Lodge of Royal Ark Mariner on the second Narrow Boat trip of the summer, aboard Lady Winifred, crossing the 126ft high Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

On this occasion, the trip has been organised exclusively for members and their partners.

Departing at 10 o’clock on Saturday 25th July, our journey begins at Trevor Basin (near Llangollen), crossing over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, through the Whitehouse Tunnel and across the Chirk Aqueduct before stopping off at The Poachers for lunch and refreshments. We expect to arrive back at Trevor Basin for around 4 o’clock.

Not including lunch, the cost of the narrow boat trip is £20.
