The Provincial Grand Master, John Stanley Evans accompanied by the Provincial Grand Master of Cheshire, Gary Horstman, yesterday presented a cheque for £45,000 on behalf of the Mark Benevolent Fund to Hope House Children’s Hospice in Oswestry.
The money was used for much needed improvements to the aquatic therapy pool as well as providing new sensory and audio equipment.
Hope House is currently providing care for 280 terminally ill children from North Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire as well as supporting a further 300 siblings and 244 adult family members.
It was an honour for the PGM, his deputy, the Provincial Secretary and the Provincial Charity Steward to be present to witness first hand all the good that Mark Masons donations does.
